St. John's has supported a robed choir for many years which is affiliated to The Royal School of Church Music. Our Choir provides support for the congregation and clergy by leading the sung and spoken parts of our 10.00am Sunday services. They also provide more elaborate music for our occasional Choral Evensongs and special devotional services.

Our Choir is an enthusiastic and cheerful group who rehearse on Friday evenings 8.00pm - 9.15pm led by our Director of Music, which we have a Vacancy.
The Choir is entirely voluntary but is encouraged to offer commitment to as many services as possible, but only as far as personal, work and family commitments comfortably allow. All robes, books and music are provided.

We are always keen to welcome new members to our Choir, there is no audition, simply come along or contact the Parish Office.
