The churches in the London Borough of Bexley are seeking to provide night shelter accommodation for “rough sleepers” from January – March 2019.

meals each week.
In order to do this, they need: -
The volunteers are needed for just one night each week, to cover either;
i) An early evening shift (from 6.30 – 10.30pm) providing a welcome and an evening meal.
ii) A night shift (10.15 – 6.30)
iii) An early morning shift to provide breakfast and to tidy up (6.15 & finishing by 8.45 am)
(Actual times can be negotiated with the local team leaders)
They are also looking for volunteers to meet and greet, help in the kitchen, lay up tables, serve meals, clean and tidy up
NB Volunteers must to attend a 2-3 hour training course.
